The new multipurpose room of the Palace of Isabel II in Mahón, inaugurated on May 30, will host the first conference of the cycle dedicated to the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Consortium of the Military Museum of Menorca and Historical Heritage on July 4 Military Port of Mahón and Cala San Esteban, specifically on June 22, 1998.
Under the heading “The photographic souvenir album of the cabinet of the Philippine Infantry Regiment no. in Menorca and its historical context”.
Gornés has a degree in Geography and History, specializing in prehistory and ethnology of the Iberian Peninsula, from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been linked for many years to the management of the Isabell II Fortress, La Mola.
The conference will take place from 7:30 p.m. and is open to the general public.
