Maó City Council has decided to once again celebrate Book Day and the Menorca Military Consortium has been faithful to the annual event with its numerous publications.
This year the pulse has recovered after two years of abnormal situation, due to the coronavirus pandemic, and, thanks to the fact that Sant Jordi falls on a Saturday, the Consistory has decided to return to normality with the installation of the book stands and flowers for two days in a row.
In this way, the book and flower stands have returned to Plaza Constitución, Carrer Nou and s’Arravaleta today, Friday, April 22, all day and tomorrow, Saturday, April 23, only in the morning.
To conclude, it is worth highlighting the presentation this afternoon, at 8:00 p.m. in the Audience Hall of the Claustre del Carme de Mahón, of the book “Dominicana, la annexación frustrada (1861- 1865)”, whose author is General Luis Alejandre.
