The Menorca Military Consortium has joined the initiative promoted by the Mahón City Council that has filled the center of the town with flowers this past weekend.
A new edition of the Mahón+Flores activity has been held this year on its usual date, in spring, after being moved on the calendar last year to October due to the coronavirus pandemic. Last Saturday and Sunday several areas of the center and the Es Freginal Park have been decorated with flowers and, consequently, the Menorca Military Consortium has not wanted to miss the opportunity to be part of this activity.
Therefore, the central access courtyard to the Palace of Isabell II, located on the street with the same name, has remained free of vehicles and in the central part a space full of life with plants, flowers and other objects has been created, in the style of an attractive still life elaborated with a careful taste and a lot of character.
This activity has once again served to show that all the assets managed by the Consorcio Militar de Menorca belongs to Menorcan society.
