Colonel Antonio Rojas has been appointed by the Commander General of the Balearic Islands as President of the Board of Founders of the Menorca Military Consortium following the retirement of his predecessor, Colonel Víctor Manuel Herrero Álvarez.
Colonel Rojas was appointed Secretary of the Permanent Commission of the Menorca Military Consortium in February 2024, and subsequently Director of the Military Museum, which has led to a process of adaptation and familiarization with his new position and the island’s reality.
Colonel Rojas joined the Army in 1982, having served in various locations and in numerous cities across Spain, and has also been deployed on several missions abroad.
The Military Consortium was created in November 1998 with the aim of promoting the conservation and dissemination of Menorca’s military heritage.
