The new General Commander of the Balearic Islandsvisit the military installations of Menorca

Division General Fernando Luis Gracia Herréiz, the new General Commander of the Balearic Islands since he took office on February 25, visits the military installations in Menorca from today until the day after tomorrow, Friday March 18.

General Gracia is focusing on getting to know the personnel, facilities and properties of the Army on the island, so he plans to visit, among others, the San Isidro barracks and the facilities of the La Mola Consortium.

This morning he visited the Military Residence and met with Colonel Víctor Manuel Herrero Álvarez at the Palacio de Isabel II in Mahón.

In addition, taking advantage of his stay on the island, the Commander General will introduce himself to some of the authorities, having previously scheduled appointments with the President of the Insular Council, the Insular Director and the Mayor of Mahón, leaving the meeting for the next visit to Menorca. with the rest of the mayors.

With this visit, the presence and commitment of the General Command of the Balearic Islands with all the islands of the archipelago is reinforced.
