La Mola hosts tomorrow Saturday the broadcast of “Gente viajera” radio program of Onda Cero

The program “Gente viajera,” directed and presented on Onda Cero by Carles Lamelo, will broadcast a special edition from Menorca this Saturday, April 5th, at 12:00 p.m., focusing on the cultural, natural, and sustainable valuesthat distinguish the island as a quality tourist destination year-round.
This Onda Cero program, dedicated to tourism, travel, and unique experiences, offers a tour of some of Menorca’s most emblematic sites, paying special attention to its military and historical heritage, its artistic and wine-related offerings, and its firm commitment to an active, experiential, and environmentally friendly tourism model.
Carles Lamelo will speak with Rafa Durán, director of the La Mola Fortress, and Colonel Antonio Rojas, secretary of the Menorca Military Consortium, in an interview marking the 175th anniversary of this fortified enclosure, one of the most imposing structures in the Mediterranean and a key element of the island’s heritage.
The president of the Menorca Island Council and the Tourism Promotion Foundation, Adolfo Vilafranca, will explain the main pillars of the island’s current tourism strategy, geared toward sustainability and diversification.
With the assistance of César Palomino Guzmán, president of the Menorca Wine Association, and Catalina Florit Torres, president of Menorca Activa, Lamelo will discuss the rise of wine and food tourism and active tourism on the island, two key sectors that contribute to the island’s identity and added value to the visitor experience.
Travel advice from Rebeca Marín and Enrique Domínguez Uceta will also be provided.
