Stand of the Consorcio Militar de Menorca on Book Day

The Military Consortium of Menorca installed a stand in the street of s’Arravaleta de Mahón on the occasion of the celebration, last Friday, April 23, of Book Day 2021.

This initiative is, each year, an excellent opportunity to make known, to the general public, a part of the extensive collection of publications that the Menorca Military Consortium has published since its creation in 1998 to the present day.

Early in the morning the visit of the 1st Lieutenant of the Mayor’s Office for Culture of the Mahón City Council, Conxa Juanola, was received by the acting director of the Menorca Military Consortium, Lieutenant Colonel Francisco José Campo Largo.

Throughout the day on Friday and the morning of the following Saturday, numerous passers-by were attended to, who requested information and / or bought some of the books that were selected for sale.

It is important to note that the Menorca Military Consortium has hundreds of publications and it is impossible to take them all out onto the streets, so that, at this time, a selection is made of those that are considered most interesting for the general public.
