Mahón, September 16, 2026
The third meeting of the year of the Permanent Commission of the Menorca Military Consortium took place this morning.
The event was held in the meeting room of the Isabel II Palace—located on the street of the same name in the municipality of Mahón—rather than at the usual venue for these gatherings, the Menorca Military Museum in Es Castell’s Esplanada Square. During the meeting, participants reviewed initiatives undertaken to date and discussed future projects aimed at continuing the work of restoring and promoting the historical and cultural heritage managed by the Consortium.
Representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Balearic Government, the Island Council of Menorca, the Balearic Islands Port Authority, and the municipalities of Mahón and Es Castell attended the meeting.
