Visit to the Menorca Military History Museum by Captain Massimiliano Siragusa and his companions

Last Sunday, September 8, without public visits, the Menorca Military History Museum received the commission of Italian personnel who had traveled to Menorca to represent different organizations in the commemorative events of the 81st anniversary of the sinking of the battleship “Roma” in the waters of Sardinia on September 9, 1943, during World War II.
The commission was led by Captain Massimiliano Siragusa, Defense Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Madrid, who was accompanied by other officers from the Ministry of Defense.
Among the visitors were also personnel belonging to the crew of the brig-schooner “Palinuro”, a training ship of the Italian Navy that was stationed in the port of Mahón to take part in the event on the occasion of the anniversary. A beautiful ship that we were able to visit and admire for a few days.
There were also staff representing the various Associations of Veterans of the Italian Navy.
A “luxury” visit that we were happy to receive.
