Es Castell, March 12, 2025
On March 8th, the feast day of Saint John of God, patron saint of the Fire Department, a representative of this corps visited the Menorca Military History Museum.
Although the museum remains closed to the public until mid-March due to maintenance and renovation work being carried out inside, this visit was organized somewhat improvised.
Led by Joe Natta, and accompanied by the museum’s former director, Lieutenant Colonel Bartol, who acted as guide, the group toured the various rooms and facilities.
Interested in the historical explanations provided, they enjoyed the visit. A wonderful way to spend an entertaining and interesting morning, as one of the attendees commented.
We hope it has sparked enough curiosity in them to return later, accompanied by family and friends.
Some of the group even recalled their time in this building while doing their military service. The Menorca Artillery Unit General Staff was here.
We hope they return to this home.
