The Menorca Military Consortium has joined the second open day organized by the Balearic Port Authority in the port of Mahón.
Under the heading “Viu el Port”, a family day will be held on Saturday, October 26 with live music, guided tours and fun for everyone. The three monuments managed by the Menorca Military Consortium, La Mola, the San Felipe Castle and the Menorca Military History Museum will open their doors for (free) visits to their facilities.
The Isabel II Fortress, La Mola, will offer three visiting shifts at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Places are limited and require prior registration on the website https://viuelport.com/actividades/visita-a-la-fortaleza-de-mola/.
The Castillo de San Felipe has scheduled two visiting shifts, at 10 am and at 12 pm. Prior registration is also mandatory at the following link https://viuelport.com/actividades/visita-al-castillo-de-sant-felip/
Finally, all people who want to visit the Military History Museum of Menorca will also be able to do so at 10 am and/or at 12 pm on the same day 26, by prior and mandatory registration on the following website https://viuelport.com/actividades/visita-al-museo-militar-de-menorca/
The monuments managed by the Military Consortium of Menorca are a heritage of all Menorcans that deserves to be known and that forms an intrinsic part of the port of Mahón.
