The Hornabeque of the Isabel II Fortress in La Mola will host the exhibition “The Spanish Legacy in the United States of America” from August 10 to 31, an exhibition organized by the Defense Delegation in the Balearic Islands and The Legacy Association, that can be visited every day of the week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Legacy, on the occasion of its V anniversary, has designed this exhibition that includes some of the most relevant and unknown milestones of its mission and objectives, whose story begins with the postcards of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabel and Fernando to then delve into the beginnings of our presence in North America, with characters worthy of film productions.
This event will be inaugurated next Thursday, August 10, at 7:00 p.m., through a conference that will deal with “Forgotten Spaniards in North America”, by Colonel and Dr. in Arts and Humanities, Mr. José Antonio Crespo-Francés y Valero . The director of the Military Consortium of Menorca, Colonel Víctor Manuel Herrero Álvarez, will present the speaker to the attendees.
